The Durston Ring Stretcher is a professional jewelry repair tool designed to increase ring size and reshape ring bands quickly and accurately. Built with Durston’s precision engineering, this heavy-duty tool allows jewelers to stretch ring shanks evenly using a tapered mandrel system.
The stretcher expands the ring by pressing it onto a six-spline hardened steel mandrel, gradually enlarging the band without distorting its shape. Many models also include a reducing plate with multiple dies, allowing jewelers to reduce ring size or reshape distorted bands.
Constructed from powder-coated cast iron, the tool is designed for long-term durability in professional jewelry repair workshops. The base includes mounting holes so it can be securely attached to a workbench for stable operation.
